Artistic Resistance and immersive program for TGNC, non-binary, and queer youth, ages 18-24.
What to Expect
- Receive political education training and apply what you’re learning through your own media-centered project
- Opportunity for self-reflection and practice engaging your radical imagination
- Connect with peers who are also committed to social justice and social change
- Gain firsthand experience as a cultural worker by developing an original body of work in your preferred artistic medium (small book, zine, painting series, etc.)
- Co-facilitate a discussion and activity with your peers
- Build a portfolio of your work through mini exercises
- Present your original body of work to your peers and the broader community
- Receive a $1500 educational scholarship upon completion
ELIGIBILITY
- Identify as queer, trans, and/or gender nonconforming
- 18-24 years old
- Have successfully completed LYRIC programs – SLI or CLP
